Mac360’s Wil Gomez on speculation that Apple’s iPhone customers will switch to a Chinese made Nokia phone running Android.
It will have a Zeiss lens (which was on Nokia cameras when they went belly up). Dual lenses even. That’s in vogue these days. It will also have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and some kind of Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU that will still run slower than an iPhone 6.
And due by Christmas; just in time for iPhone 8 to ramp up production. How much?
Nobody knows but Nokia (or, executives at the parent company that bought the name so they could move all those Android smartphone parts that have been warehoused in China). Somehow I don’t see this as a serious challenge for either iPhone or Galaxy owners
If Samsung’s highly touted and well reviewed Galaxy S8 and upcoming Galaxy Note 8 don’t pull customers off their iPhones how will a lesser Nokia phone do the job?
