It wasn’t that long ago when Microsoft was willing to pay tens of billions for Yahoo! Today, the company isn’t worthy much and is sliding downhill faster than most media companies. Why? Check out a Yahoo! home page for the latest drivel.
That’s where the news should be but instead there are trivial stories about TV shows, movie stars, sponsored ads, plenty of Hollywood gossip, a chili recipe, something about Selena Gomez’s pants, Aldi’s secrets, Trump spouting off, and, of course, a cat quiz.
Yahoo! is full of fake news, non-news, and news that has been on the home page for days, which makes it no longer newsworthy. There was a time when Yahoo!’s home page was the go to page to see what was happening in the world. If this is what’s happening in the world, then, God save the world.
