Horace Dediu cooks up questions for Tim Cook to answer at the AllThingsD conference.
- Why is the iPhone not sold as a portfolio product?
- Why do only 250 of the world’s 800 carriers have the iPhone?
- Why is Apple’s capital spending 10 times higher than in 2007?
- Why is Samsung the only supplier for iPhone CPUs?
I don’t understand the first question at all, and Dediu doesn’t give an example. The second question may have to do with the quality of the carriers and their inability to sell smartphones. And, I suspect that the last question is related to the third question.
