CNN Money has the Chart of the Day. Web usage of Apple’s iPad hits 81-percent share. Kindle is second with 7.7-percent for the Fire HD. What does the chart say?
It showed the iPad’s share of North American tablet Web traffic dropping 7.14% in the days after Christmas as people who were gifted Amazon (AMZN) Kindle Fires and Samsung Galaxy Tablets plugged their new toys into the Internet.
Then, almost as if on cue, the iPad’s web usage share went back up again.
I have a theory. It’s buyer’s remorse. People bought Kindles, and Galaxy tablets, and B&N’s Nook, tried them out, and stopped using them.
