Nokia, the big cell phone manufacturer that has yet to answer the landscape change brought about by Apple’s iPhone and smart phones using Google’s Android, is ready to answer From Gustav Sandstrom in The Wall Street Journal.
Apart from the expected management shake-up, market watchers also believe that Nokia will announce a new software strategy on the upcoming Feb. 11 briefing, including plans to build new smartphones based either on Android or on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 platform.
Nokia’s new CEO is former Microsoft executive, Stephen Elop. Call me crazy, but I say Nokia goes to bed with Microsoft and ends up pregnant. The child shall be called Windows Phone 7.
