Nokia ends layoff talks:
Nokia says it plans to cut up to 800 jobs in Finland, following redundancy talks that began in October and ended on Tuesday. The figure is down from the original reduction target of 850 jobs. Meanwhile the company announced a delay in the roll-out of its new flagship product.
The newest flagship product?
Nokia delayed the launch of its next flagship model, the E7, missing the key holiday sales season in major markets. The world’s biggest phonemaker said it will begin shipping in early 2011 “to ensure the best possible user experience.”
Uh oh. Anybody else smell blood in the water?
