We live in a wonderful world for browsers. Despite the lack of a price tag, Mac browsers are plentiful and just seem to get better with age. Apple claims Safari is the fastest browser. Mozilla claims a gazillion Firefox downloads, Mac and Windows. For Mac users, which is better, Firefox or Safari. I use both.

What is your opinion of Camino?
Kate Mac said:
With the exception of all those extensions, I prefer to use Camino to Firefox.
However, let me qualify that with an update. I’ve been using Flock for a couple of days and I admit I like it. It’s more Mac-like than Firefox (same rendering engine) with more features than Camino. I’m still not into the whole social networking thing, which is Flock’s angle on browsing. Still, the experience is decent.
One thing I notice, too, is that whatever other features exist in other browsers, I usually head back to Safari because it’s fast and gets out of the way. Flock isn’t bad.

i totally agree with you. after having my woes with trying to run mac applications on windows and seeing how mac apps are supposed to run on a floor model at my local electronics store, i decided on a imac. since using safari, my web experience has been a whole lot more enjoyable.
i have even went to the extent of running the same web page with firefox and safari side by side… and of course the firefox was quickly extinguished. no regrets, just satisfaction, safari is the browser to use for todays internet!
