Is it OK to use your Mac as an alarm clock?

Monday, May 5, 2008

We ask plenty from our Macs. They store everything and communicate with everyone and seem to work anywhere, thanks to wireless internet connections. How about a simple task? Is it too much to have our Macs become an alarm clock? If so, how many features should that alarm clock have?

Alarm Clock Pro is decent with a gentle learning curve and lots of features, but you’re right about all the palettes floating everywhere. Palettes are soooooo 1999. When will Mac software developers realize that palettes don’t do the job on a big screen. They get lost. Otherwise, I like ACP.

Catherine Tate? No, no, no a thousand times no. I really prefer Billy Piper. Hot. Obviously a Mac user. Understated pneumatic sensuality. Tate is just a shrill Brit. BTW—is she preggers?
