How To Make Your Mac The Root Of A Family Tree

I found Reunion to be a little to complicated for my simple tastes. MacFamilyTree is easier to set up. I also tried GEDitCOM. All seem to do the same kind of thing a little bit differently.
Which did I select? Nothing, yet.

I looked at MacFamilyTree but decided to go with the more powerful Reunion. It can store anything and everything, including multimedia, and is fully GEDCOM compliant. I have almost 2300 names going back 15 generations.
