The latest headline from ComputerWorld is, HP to make more TouchPads. HP spokesperson, Mark Budgell:
Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand
Demand was high. The $599 TouchPad sold for $99 after HP announced they would end manufacturing.
Now they want to build more to meet unfulfilled demand? That’s crazy. How many? HP won’t say. When? HP won’t say. Priced at? HP won’t say.
I think they’ve said enough already.
