A little friendly tit for tat in the business world can ease the friction of competition. Microsoft’s COO Kevin Turner knows how to turn a phrase. From Jay Yarrow:
It looks like the iPhone 4 might be their Vista, and I’m okay with that.
Of course, customers hated Windows Vista and quite often rolled back new PCs to the older and friendlier Windows XP. Then Microsoft rushed Windows 7 to replace Vista. So far, no lines forming to return all those iPhones with antenna problems. Still Turner turned on the charm, telling Microsoft partners:
One of the things I want to make sure you know today is that you’re going to be able to use a Windows Phone 7 and not have to worry about how you’re holding it to make a phone call.
