US Justice Department investigating Apple’s hold on digital music

If it’s not Adobe complaining to the feds about Apple, it’s Amazon. Greg Sandoval and Declan McCullagh in CNET:

The U.S. Department of Justice has begun asking questions about what Apple’s role was in the recent scaling back of special music discounts and promotions at Amazon, according to two high level music industry sources.

This is what happens when little dogs become big dawgs in the market place.
