HTC Fights Apple With Wet Noodles

Just weeks after Apple stung cell phone handset maker HTC for infringing on 20 iPhone-related patents, the Taiwanese smart phone maker struck back. What did they say? Philip Elmer-DeWitt in Fortune says HTC fired back with—wet noodles:

  • HTC advocates intellectual property protection
  • It has always respected other innovator’s technologies and will continue to do so
  • It embraces healthy competition

HTC CEO Peter Chou:

HTC disagrees with Apple’s actions and will fully defend itself.

Take that, Steve Jobs.
